In early 2017 I began receiving these original digital drawings and reworkings of online pictures of me (even my 10th Grade class photo) from an artist called Jupiter Day. I have no idea who Jupiter Day is. When I tried to email back to thank the person, the emails would bounce. So I was baffled.
These were created before we had the filters and apps that could easily make these sorts of images, meaning; someone had to create them in photoshop or another computer program. And then, as mysteriously as they began, they stopped. I don’t know if I’ll ever find out who made them, but I am flattered none the less. I have had several fans paint portraits of me and it’s always a cool surprise.
